Pastor David Tate To All Instructors

David and his wife, Stephanie, live in Edneyville, the heart of apple country, in Western North Carolina with their 3 children Gareth, Keaton, and Joyanna. He enjoys teaching the Bible, audio production and playing the drums. His family has been homeschooling for 9 years and he likes being involved as much as possible. David has studied pastoral ministry at Fruitland Baptist Bible College, as well as various other Bible related programs, including courses from Answers in Genesis. Some of his favorite Christian authors and teachers are Oswald Chambers, A.W. Tozer, and Ken Ham. David has a passion for the Christian family, biblical marriages, fathers, apologetics, and discipleship. David is a sound guy by trade, with almost 30 years of experience, and works for a high-end brand of sound equipment. He is also an ordained pastor, currently serving as Associate Pastor of Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Edneyville where he also leads Wednesday night Bible study and teaches Sunday School. This will be David’s first year teaching with Ignite but he has studied and taught the Bible for over 12 years. One of David’s talents is his ability to make the Bible easily understandable through his visual presentations. One of David’s favorite things to do is helping equip the next generations to better understand their faith in Jesus through the Bible and personal relationship with Him.
